WiTech Spa, founded in 2003 as a Spin-off of the University of Pisa, is a solutions and services company that has quickly become one of the most interesting realities in the Next Generation Networks and Services scenario, with a focus on broadband technologies.

Thanks to its competence and skills, WiTech develops tailored solutions for all usage scenarios, such us the access & service management platform (WROP) operating in a multi-technology and multi-service environment; the operational support system (TelcoGIS) designed to address key operational needs in multiple areas; the business case analysis tool (TEA) useful to lay a solid foundation for a successful 4G (WiMAX and LTE) initiative.

In addition, WiTech provides also the market with selected high-value services, such as strategic consulting on investment plans and engineering services for network planning and design.

WiTech has been Regular Member of the WiMAX Forum since January 2006 and Member of the TeleManagement Forum since January 2007.

WiTech is one among the Founders of Cubit, Consortium Ubiquitous Technologies, founded in April 2007 as the brainchild of the Department of Information Engineering of the University of Pisa, of Polo Navacchio S.p.A. and a number of highly innovative companies throughout the Country. The Consortium aims at creating a new model of collaboration to accelerate the process of weaving together the various sectors of telecommunications.
